I was born in Austin and moved around the Lone Star State before making my way to New York City in 2006. I spent my 15 years in the Big Apple soaking up big- city culture, eating pizza, and complaining about the cold winters.

Now I'm back in the Austin area so my wife and I can be near family (though I suspect her fondness for Buc-ee's Nug-ees has something to with it as well!).

I'm passionate about movies, comics, and puzzles. I'm a firm believer in the Oxford comma. I'll never turn down a chocolate chip cookie. When I go to a museum or a historical site, I always read all the signs.
